In an era where electronic music is increasingly competitive, establishing a recognisable artistic identity across streaming, club and digital environments has become progressively more challenging. BOOTHED, the project of Italian and London based artist Francesco, is part of a new generation of producers combining legacy dance influences with contemporary house and tech house production.
Over recent years, BOOTHED has accumulated more than 24 million streams across digital platforms, alongside over 80 million combined views across TikTok, Shorts, and social media content worldwide. With more than 40 official releases and collaborations involving labels such as Sony Music, Another Rhythm, Protocol Recordings, Hexagon, Spinnin’ Records and others, the project has built a growing presence within the electronic music scene.
BOOTHED’s music has also received radio support across more than 18,000 stations internationally, including stations such as Kiss FM in the UK, LOS40 in Spain, SLAM! in the Netherlands, and M2O in Italy. This radio presence, combined with chart placements and editorial playlist support across major digital streaming platforms, has contributed to the project’s international exposure across multiple markets. One of the most notable milestones in this recent growth phase was the release of an official sample of Kool and the Gang’s classic Get Down On It.
The release received approval from the original band and achieved chart placements across multiple countries, including the UK Top 50 Dance Chart, Finland #12 Dance and #68 General Chart, Sweden #31 Dance, Mexico #64 Dance, Netherlands #21 Dance, Singapore #13 Dance, Denmark #33 Dance, and additional placements across Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania. The release generated significant digital engagement and received editorial playlist support across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Deezer.
Spotify editorial support included playlists such as All New Dance, Party Mode, and Club Hits 2025, while Apple Music featured the track across international playlists including Breaking Dance, Dance Pop Hits, and New in Dance. The track also received editorial support through Amazon Music and Deezer across multiple dance music playlists.
Within the contemporary electronic music sector, editorial playlist support across platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music is widely considered an indicator of commercial viability and audience traction. BOOTHED’s repeated inclusion across international editorial playlists reflects growing recognition within the digital music ecosystem.
Beyond streaming and editorial support, BOOTHED’s productions have received support within international club and festival environments, including sets and performances associated with internationally recognised DJs and electronic music events. His music has been supported by artists such as Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Fedde Le Grand, Don Diablo and others, with tracks featured in contexts connected to major festival stages including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival Mainstage.
The project has also developed a growing live presence. BOOTHED has performed across Europe and in London, including a sold-out pop-up show in Covent Garden in collaboration with Pulse. This combination of digital traction, DJ support, radio exposure, and live performance activity has helped position the project within both club-focused and wider electronic music environments. More recently, tracks such as Body Wanna Rave and Rave Tonight have further contributed to BOOTHED’s visibility, generating viral traction across TikTok and Shorts while receiving play across clubs, festivals, and rave environments internationally. Body Wanna Rave also achieved chart placements including #15 on the France Dance Chart and #64 on the New Zealand Dance Chart.
One of the latest solo singles, Sexy Sturdy, continued this momentum through placement on major Spotify editorial playlists, including Tech House Operator, further connecting the project with current house and tech house audiences. From an industry perspective, BOOTHED represents a new generation of electronic music producers combining legacy influences with commercially viable production aimed at international audiences.
By merging classic dance music elements with modern house and tech house production, the project has developed a recognisable sound that connects both club oriented and wider mainstream audiences.
