LALovetheboss Interview with Muzique Magazine

How did you come by your stage name?

LALovetheboss comes from A Combination of things. LA is short for my Real Name Lauryn Alease, Love comes from the passion I have for my Music. The Boss started from me being “Build On My Own Self Success”.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

OMG, I’ve been wanting to be an entertainer since I was 5. I would Perform at my Mom’s Nail Salon for all her clients and every Family Gathering. Started writing poetry at 9 years old and then around 12 realized I can covert my Poems into Songs.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

My Sense of style just comes from my own Self Expression. But My overall Style is definitely centered around the 70’s Vintage error mixed with Today’s trends.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

My Love. Well, first shout-out to Deraj Global He Produced the Track, when I first heard it I was instantly Inspired. I wanted to write something that would Relate and resonate with people being on a deep level of Love. If you Never Knew Love or Experienced it let me show you what it means and how it should make you feel.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

Some of my Greatest Challenges would definitely be, Not Overworking but definitely not Working Harder but Smarter. My Greatest Attribute would have to be my “CONSISTENCY” I’m Consistent with what I want in my Life both Business and Personal.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

Yes! Very much so. No one can do what I do, how I do it because I’ve found the formula that works for me. And Everyone should feel they are the “BEST” at what they do. Confidence only Matters when it Reflects in outstanding results from your Hard Work.

What are your plans for the near future?

My Plans for the near future, are going on my own world tour, having platinum success & not only Performing on the Grammys but winning one. Along with keeping expanding my brand by developing business and building generational wealth.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout-outs?

Yes! I would Like to Not only Thank but Show so much Gratitude and Appreciation from my Mom AKA “Momanger” we built my Music and Brand from the ground up and she believed in me from Day 1. I could never thank her enough for Seeing what sometimes I didn’t see in myself due to lack of Patience or just an Anxiousness to Accomplish my Dreams.

The Suggestions I have for other artists like me are: Always Remember to take the time to remember your reason & your why. What’s your purpose and be sure to keep God First. Even when things get hard and obstacles arise; learn how to not allow times to break you but strengthen you. Its Life’s Path.
