Interview with Venezuela based Artist PHANTOM BOY

How did you come by your stage name?

PHANTOM BOY

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

From the age of 15, I wanted to be a singer, and I auditioned several projects and at 16 I joined a boy band from Venezuela.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

I always loved the music of Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams.

On your upcoming project, how did you come up with the concept?

I wanted to make this album tribute to the band in which I belonged since I had many years trying to make a reunion with my former bandmates but they never took me seriously since they always underestimated me as a singer and this year 2019 it was time to take this album really tribute to the music that worked in the era of the 90s.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

My challenges are to reach the goals put on paper without importing the languages or the criticism and I learned to walk by myself without using a cane and I think that the strongest part of this career is being responsible, having focus and having proof.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

I do not want to put on a slogan or talk to talk we live under the same sky and I think we have space for all artists but I think I have my own style I do not consider myself an imitator of anyone I only do what I love and with the years I have my public.

What are your plans for the near future?

Right now I’m full of work with this new material and finishing two albums plus one in Portuguese and a new tribute that comes for two great artists of the 90s which I’m going to release soon in the summer but right now very focused on my product for the European market.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

I have many people such as, above all, God for giving me life to people like Luis Alva for giving me the opportunity to realize that I could, to my former colleagues for never believing in me and always talking about me behind my back and not have the courage to be men of words or be children of God, my publicist Dorita Rodriguez forever to be and my son Eduard for being my lung and my heart to continue in this race to Venezuela for letting me have a beautiful childhood and God for allowing me to be born in Venezuela.

How can fans find you?
