What is The Podcases About?
Every week hosts Shawn and Chris discuss the ways today’s pop culture and entertainment intersect with society and politics. In the new season alone, listeners can expect a new segment called “Ask The Podcases”. Where the guys will read questions, or answers to previously posed questions, from their audience. Including listeners will call in with an interesting story or question about relationships and much more.
The Originators of Opinionated Facts
Shawn and Chris are self-proclaimed Originators of Opinionated Facts, a term that speaks to their honest take on current events, music, sports, lifestyle, relationships, and more. Their clever conversations cover all topics, making The Podcases valuable to everyone. And since they don’t back down from any subject, the duo takes full public ownership of their honest opinions in ways that other news sources can’t.
How The Podcases Started
The Podcases founders, Shawn Carter and Christopher Young met as college roommates at Shaw University. They became best friends, and over the course of having many socially relevant, honest, and thought-provoking dialogues they realized the impact they could have by sharing their thoughts and opinions with the world.
Now, The Podcases has created space for larger, meaningful discussions as a culture and community.
The podcast was officially founded in 2021 and has since gathered a dedicated audience of thousands. Shawn (a serial entrepreneur) and Chris (a criminal defense attorney) have fueled every episode with their determined fire and successfully built their platform from the ground up.
