New York Hyperpop Artist Launches Fundraiser Platform for Charity

In the time of the pandemic, many artists took to the Internet to perform and do concerts so their fans could still interact with them. Rochester native AK Kastro is carrying the torch for online livestreams by offering a one-of-a-kind festival to raise money for the Trevor Project called Kastrofest.

The Trevor Project is an American nonprofit organization founded in 1998. It focuses on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. Kastrofest will be streamed live on AK’s official website along with special guests, merch for sale, and a donation box to donate during the stream.
