“Avalanche The Architect” Interview with Muzique Magazine

How did you come by your stage name?

My kickboxing coach said My style is like an Avalanche in the way I smother my opponent and my friends say that the way I build relationships is like an Architect hence the name Avalanche The Architect.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

In 1992 around I was at a video shoot at Jane and finch for a group called organized rhyme and thought to myself I’m way better than these guys and the one guy in the group was the comedian tom Green so I figured if this dude who didn’t take music serious could make it then me with my passion for music had to make it then.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

My style comes from the 1990s and early 2000s hip hop fashion and I just stayed with it. Fashion now is weird guys dress as girls and girls dress like guys so I decided to stick to the fashion I know.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

With rappers singing and mumbling I found myself having conversations with people from the 90’s about the good old days when rappers were masculine and didn’t rap and glorify being a drug addict or alcoholic and had to put some thought into music.

Avalanche The Architect” Interview with Muzique Magazine

That is what people call the boom-bap Era so my album has that boom bap sound. The title “Let There Be War” Is a metaphor for my music being the war against feminin-sounding rap music where everyone is harmonizing and not enough lyricism.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

Fake industry rappers who suck up and brown nose to get ahead and jump on other people’s wave instead of creating their own, that’s the biggest challenge lol and my work ethic comes from my martial arts training.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

Yes, there is no one better because no one is doing what I do because they are scared to and simply can’t do it! I don’t care about other people’s opinions if I believe in something I do it and don’t require people’s validation because I’m a leader.

What are your plans for the near future?

To be the best.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shoutouts?

My Mother and Father.

How can fans find you?
