Flawless Breezyy talks about His Alternative Sound and Latest Album – ‘Cory vs Flawless’

Annapolis, MD native Flawless Breezyy enters 2021 without skipping a beat releasing his new EP ‘Cory vs Flawless’. After all the talk about the hot new EP entering 2021. You know we had to check it out. Being another great project by Flawless Breezyy as we expected, and still left with a few questions.
When first hearing about the album we assumed it was going to be more of a battle between his personal life and his music career. After listening to the album you discover his unique alternative hip-hop vibe. With his single ‘Geppetto’ following up on the album, we can only assume and are hoping to see a music video for the single very soon.
Muzique Magazine caught up with Flawless Breezyy to find out more about how he got started with the new EP.
How did you come by your stage name?
C-Breezyy has been my nickname forever given to me by my friend Tomia and it has really just evolved from there over the years.
Seeing you gaining great traction in 2020 what can we expect moving forward?
I can’t release too much information but we are working on some visuals for the EP. I have grown a solid team over the past year and everyone is working we have a lot going on and coming up. This is going to be a big year.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
My style is very different I can’t really accredit my style to anyone it just me, I am more like an alternative style of hip-hop. There’s no song that sounds the same coming from me.
I’ve watched and looked up to people such as XXX, Uzi, & Juice Wrld. I like how they stay true to themselves and produce music that is authentic to them, and they have their own style of rap.
On your first EP for 2021 ‘Cory vs Flawless’, how did you come up with the concept?
Cory vs Flawless is really a battle between both of my music styles. Cory is more of a rap style while Flawless is more melodic and alternative, Flawless is a style of his own. As seen in the cover art for the EP.
Can you tell us more about the song ‘Geppetto’ ?
Geppetto is about Flawless becoming himself and breaking away from Cory and becoming himself. Creating his own lane. Produced by Chris Dean, everything was done in Miami!
Can we expect a music video for ‘Geppetto’?
Yes, we are currently getting the concept, and treatment ready to shoot the video.
