Zül-Qarnain Interview with Muzique Magazine

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

My brother was a hip-hop artist and he introduced me to hip-hop as a young mustache. I was listening to Naz and Rakim, and both of them really made me want to become a rapper. Then also at that time, Cash Money took off in New Orleans and I was also listening to the Juvenile (he’s one of my favorite rappers), Lil Wayn,e BG Birdman all that, I just liked the lifestyle, I always wanted to get to the bag, I always wanted to be rich and I had the talent to do it.

I used to read a lot so my vocabulary was quite large at a young age, and as I transformed from a kid into an adult I really felt that God gave me a message to deliver to the people. It is a message of the best way of life in a way of life, and a message that you should live to be successful in this life, and the next life. Over the years I’ve harnessed my craft and found myself going through many transitions as an artist, many phases, and I’ve reinvented myself many times. I decided to pursue a career at a young age and now I believe that I am becoming who I’m supposed to be.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

The concept is the message that I’ve learned from different experiences in life; wanting to be successful in this life, wanting to have wealth, wanting to feel accomplished, wanting to accomplish goals, and be passionate about something.

I went through a lot of different life experiences trying to acquire wealth and get money in different ways from “nefarious” to legitimate, but I was always blessed to be successful in my endeavors, especially the ones that were permissible, not illicit, or from ill-gotten gains.

I got tried by the fire, I’ve learned the hard way, I went to the “School of Hard Knox”, but the message that saved me is the message of Islam: that Allah and our Prophet, peace be upon him, is the best example for mankind. However, with that, we accept all the prophets in all the Abrahamic religions from Christianity and the Bible to the Torah. We accept Jesus Christ, Moses, Abraham, and they all came with that same message: “to worship God and God alone”.

That is the core of the message that I’m bringing out for the people, but still, we live in this world and there are challenges, so I am talking about the challenges I encountered and that’s all part of the message. My life experiences like being the father of five, being an entrepreneur, working towards financial freedom ’cause that is one of the things that will liberate us to be able to move how we wanna move, and that’s the message that I’ve learned in my life.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

I believe some of my greatest challenges are getting the message to the people, trying to market, get exposure, creating content that people will embrace, finding a way to get people to pay attention to what you have to say.

One of my greatest attributes is just determination. I believe in just being persistent, striving, and not quitting on something no matter what obstacle is coming your way, and that is a testament that I have in the connection and trust that God will always open away from me and everything I do.

What are your plans for the near future?

Continue “financially freedom fighting”, and teach people about different opportunities to gain wealth. This is America, this is a capitalistic country, we are all groomed to wanna be rich and that’s part of the culture of America. There are so many different ways that the enemy promotes for you to fall into the trap where you end up losing and ending up in prison, or dead, or in jail and unsuccessful in your quest to get money. I sometimes fall victim to it, nobody’s perfect, so all I can do is try to promote knowledge of real estate, finance, stock trading, and just being an entrepreneur, so that’s my plan for the future.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

I would like to shout out the male sitting next to me, Jerry on the camera, shout out the Royal Tribe of Tambuddha, that is my family Jibraill Nantambu, Dominique, all my children, they are all from a royal bloodline and we expect great things from them.
