Interview with upcoming artist Calvin Priice

How did you come by your stage name?

My mom wanted to call me Calvin, but my dad convinced her to call me Kelvin and the Priice was a rap name generator. lol

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

When I received my First Mix tape CD by Tego Calderon.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

90’s Fashion, Pharrelle Williams, Snoop Dogg and Chuck Norris.

On your project, how did you come up with the concept?

Creating Ego’s and characters Behind each genre of music I made.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

Staying focus and looking for the best workflow/creative process when making music.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

I’m the best Version of me, and there’s always room for Improvements.

What are your plans for the near future?

Keep creating music, Collaborating with different artists no matter if they started making music yesterday, or major artists and learning from them.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

The person that Mixed and Mastered my music and guided me through the process (Anthon Burgos).

What suggestions do you have for other artist like yourself?

Be self-sufficient, We are living in times where music is now paying more than ever, so don’t give up just think it through and do it with love everything else is just an add on.
