How did you come by your stage name?
Don Afric, I’m North African and wanted to represent the continent while admiring Latin music.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
I loved music since I was 10, always had a special love for music, only started recently as I never knew what kind of genre I wanted to sing until I found my path myself with time and experience.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Drake, Fredo, Eminem…
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
I can sit, listen to beats and come up with ideas and lyrics.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
The biggest challenge at the start is finding people to work with, finding a producer who actually cared about music more than just wanting to get paid, but the most difficult part was promoting the music itself.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I won’t say that I’m the best at what I do because I do believe that there are tremendous great talents I think the world, discovered and undiscovered, but I do believe that this is what I was been put out on this planet to do.

What are your plans for the near future?
Collaboration with big artists and big brands, delivering great and new music to the world.

I always remember the quote from Snoop Dog when he said: I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I wanna thank me for taking no days off. I wanna thank myself for never quitting.
