OR GOLAN Interview with Muzique Magazine
How did you come by your stage name?
My name is Or Golan, it will be the name that will be remembered for many years to come. Even after I die they will remember him. For that I was meant to live, I deserve to be known for my music.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
At the age of 18, I realized I had something and it was great, not every human being was given the right to make a vocation like mine. Selling 205,000 copies of my songs in 70 countries is a huge success. To appear in Times Square is a stamp of your name and your doing. To be interviewed by the whole world and to hear your songs played non-stop every day anew, only God can give you such a gift.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Electronic music is not so well-known music in the world. I grew up on pop music, so I do not think that even if an artist says that his career is given to someone it will not sound good, no human is God, even if he is the Queen of England 🙂

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
The song I am Greedy and all my songs came from God. God has given me a huge gift that I just do not know how I composed these songs because I have never learned musical notes or theories in music. So my talent is one in hundreds or thousands. It’s bigger than life
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
My biggest difficulty is living after ACUM (it’s like ASCAP only in Israel) stole all the money I made from endless radio broadcasts, first places on charts, radio and TV interviews, concerts like the Philharmonic that played my songs, and so on. It’s a difficulty that is impossible to describe and compare at all to the huge success story I have in the face of the fact that I have nothing left but glory
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
This is a question you will have to ask God, not me. I’m just saying I deserve to be known and famous for who I am and for my talent.
What are your plans for the near future?
A numerologist once told me that everything I have done so far is just the beginning of what I will do in the future in the field of music so I do not know what the future is planning for me, let’s see

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
If anyone knows at some point in his life what it’s like to be an artist. The sky is the limit for him. Art is a difficult thing, but I do it excellently, even amazingly because I deserve it.
