Interview: “MC Andrew Love” Talks About The Love for His Craft, Upcoming Collaborations and More

MC Andrew Love’s love for music has brought him to perform on many stages throughout his school years. His inspirations in music are many but the ones who stood out were New Edition, Michael Jackson and quite recently The Weeknd.

In 2018, MC Andrew Love founded Urban JunXon Entertainment.
Urban JunXon Entertainment was formed to give those artists who have a passion for the arts a platform.

UJE has since its inception has formed working relationships with artists such as S Dot, Mac The M.C., Lock7, Slick Fashionz, QDC, T. Savvy, Infinite Jay, T.Y Vegas, T.Y. The Gift, Swayve and most recently recruited a producer/engineer Process.

MC Andrew Love has a passion for finding artists who are creative and forward-thinking. In 2019, MC Andrew Love got to record and release his first single, Empty Love with producer/engineer Process.

How did you come by your stage name?

I have always been a fan of the mic which is where MC (Mic Controller) Andrew is my favorite first name and Love is what I’m looking to spread with my music.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I have been told throughout my life since elementary school that I ought to take the art of songwriting to the next level. It’s in recent years that I noticed a change in the message in music and I knew it was then time to show the world who MC Andrew Love is.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

I have to say that there are numerous artists living and dead that I can attribute my style to Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and The Weeknd.

On your upcoming project, how did you come up with the concept?

I came up with The Love Train because I want people to latch on to the moment they press play. The Love Train Movement.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

The biggest challenge that I face is finding ways of marketing my music style. My greatest attribute is being consistent.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

I’m good at what I do and I’m always striving to get better.

What are your plans for the near future?

January 17, 2020, is a showcase that I will be performing alongside fellow artists from Urban JunXon Entertainment. The release of my debut album in February.
