Canadian-American Pop Rock band HELLO FIASCO has just released “Gorgeous Girl,” the second single from their debut album “Find The Shoreline.” The track is a hard-hitting and sarcastic number that describes the advantages and power beautiful people sometimes wield over others. To coincide with the distribution of the song to worldwide radio, the band has also just released a cool and nouveau-feeling animation video for the song, which just hit YouTube last month.

The video was produced by the band’s indie label (The Mailman’s Children Inc) and animated by Canadian filmmaker Riel Foidart. The song and video are a sign of the risks this band is willing to take, as well as the fun they must be having with their craft. You can check out the video here:

Hello Fiasco doesn’t appear to be a one-trick pony as their debut album proves to have depth. Sure, there are songs like “Gorgeous Girl” and “You Don’t Want Love” that fall under funny and cheeky, but then there’s also a plethora of beautiful tracks on the record like “Before Time Leaves You” and “Trust,” where lyrics hold meaning and the music takes you on an emotionally mystical ride.

While this new band has only recently had its first shows up in Canada, it seems that streaming numbers, multiple videos, and the damage done online already spell imminent touring for HF across the world. The band’s debut album “Find The Shoreline” recently achieved 5 million streams and their YouTube page is soon to reach 1 million streams, something that most indie bands never pull off right out of the gates.

When asked about longevity and staying power, frontman and lead singer Eric LaBossiere stated that the band has already recorded several songs for their sophmore album, which he expects to come out in 2025. He believes that the new collection of recordings will be Hello Fiasco’s best work yet. However, he was quick to catch himself and say that there is still lots of work and touring to do with their first album.
