Interview with Hip Hop artists $ey Wavey
How did you come by your stage name?
I always had wavy hair since I was young and sey is short for my first name so I was like imma go by $ey Wavey from now on.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
I’ve always loved music since I couldn’t remember and I just ended up giving it a shot. I was getting a lot of positive feedback and I haven’t looked back since.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
I would say g herbo … he’s been my favorite artist since 2012 when he first came out.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
I came up with the concept based off my previous project WaveyLand Pt 1 ( OUT ON SOUNDCLOUD) I just wanted to keep the same kind of pattern but switch up the vibes with each song ( WaveyLand pt 2 also out )
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
My greatest challenge is when I’m in the studio and I have a brain fart… no matter how hard it is for me to keep going I don’t stop because I want to overcome having a stump while I’m the studio.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I wouldn’t say I’m the best at what I do but I and very well. Proficient in my craft I do think.
What are your plans for the near future?
My plans for the near future is to build my brand up and keep getting the exposure I think I deserve.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
I would like to thank god first and foremost because nothing is possible without and I wanna give a shout-out to my parents because they made me who I am today and I can’t forget about my brothers we going to war for each other.

What suggestions do you have for other artist like yourself?
I suggest that you keep going hard no matter what anyone says … you have to believe in yourself cause when you make it they all gonna be rooting for you then.
