Interview with London based Pop Artist Eleni C
How did you come by your stage name?
There’s no elaborate story behind it. It’s just my first name.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
As a child, I use to always love singing in my room and pretend that I was singing to an audience. As I grew older I realized that being on a stage performing is not only a passion it’s a form of therapy, it provides me with solace.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
I have many influences when it comes to my musical style. I love drawing inspiration from many genres such as Pop, R&B and Latin.
On your upcoming project, how did you come up with the concept?
For my latest single, I drew inspiration from my life and other people’s life’s stories on love and relationships and I came up with the concept.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
The greatest challenge is when you have to face rejection or when something doesn’t go according to plan, but you’re still expected to dust yourself off and find the strength and belief to continue. My greatest attribute is that I’m really stubborn and I don’t give up.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I like to think that what I do is unique therefore, I have nobody to compare it to.
What are your plans for the near future?
I have a lot of live performances and I’ll be releasing a new single at the beginning of August.

I would love to give a shout out to all my fans for their continued support and love.

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
Never give up! When your trying to pursue something your passionate about it never comes without its difficulties, you just have to keep persevering and believing in yourself and what you do.
