UMÉ Drops ‘The Search’

New Jersey based hip hop artist UMÉ made his return to the spotlight with a new single called ‘The Search’. The track marks the artist’s first release of the new year and comes as a follow up to his 2020 release ‘BLU’.

On ‘The Search’, UMÉ shows us a more up tempo and aggressive side of his artistry. Lasting just under 2 and a half minutes in length, the track features a piano based instrumental, catchy hook, and bar for bar lyrics about searching for exactly what the creative wants in life. UMÉ delivers motivational lyrics about focusing on himself and how he’s been grinding to better himself.

The new release brings up the question as to when a longer project from the artist will be released. The artist has been dropping singles since his debut back in 2017, but has yet to release a full length project which his supporters anxiously await.
