How did you come by your stage/brand name?

The stage name “Tito” came about from a nickname growing up when visiting my parents native land of Panama & my family members could not pronounce my birth name which is Arabic.

The brand name “Down Da Road” came from our team. We needed something to best describe where we’re from, our slang, our style, our area? And everyone knows someone from Down Da Road?

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I would say i discovered my love for the craft is when i was 8 yrs. old in a project building in Brooklyn, New York. I know it sounds cliche but I just felt this was what i was born to do is music i did a talent show at my Junior high school and won and the feeling was so intense I been addicted to the music game ever since.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

I accredit my style to all the places i spent time in from countries to different cities that let me soaked up their vibes,my parents whom played from Reggae,Salsa to Soca music.

From Hip hop Legends like JT Money & Trick Daddy Dollars from Miami where I grew up. To Dmv gogo Legends like Big G & Buggz from Washington Dc. I’m a fan of the game so I try to soak up as much as I can to make my style as flavorful as possible.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

The project is entitled “Rejuvenated” meaning exactly what it is. I’m giving new energy, new vibes, revitalized. This project is the follow up to my previous project “Reinvented” which was released in late 2019. My current single Kloud 9 prod by Cashmoney Ap that’s been played on the radio and featured on different blog sites.
