Caglar founded his own independent production company. The artist offers workshops, high-quality backing tracks, and instrumentals for different projects. Caglar has performed and recorded with an array of professional artists, including Murat Dalkilic.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
I discovered my passion for music in high school. I was the music director of high school theatre and basically, I loved the idea of earning my life from what I love. Then I worked hard on it. And created a wonderful life with music, still working on it for more and more!
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
I grew up in the 90s with listening to Steve Vai, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani. So I think all of them affected my musical ideas and style.
On your upcoming project, how did you come up with the concept?
My next release will be full-length album later this year, which will be a collection of contemporary guitar songs with an 80’s aesthetic. I always loved the music of the 80s era. So I decided to mix up 80s sounds with modern touches.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
When I start some session/studio work, I care too much. Maybe more than usual. So sometimes it makes pressure on me to do best.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
Everybody is best at what they do. Because you can’t really tell what is good or not in music, it’s all about a person’s emotions and life story behind it.
What are your plans for the near future?
I plan to create a music genre that people never heard before. One day!
