How did you come by your stage name?

I came by stage name by combining the last two letters of my middle and last name. “Moon” derives from my mother telling me growing up how much of a night owl I was. Even as a kid I was always up very late full of energy.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I had always been a huge music head ever since I could remember. Back in high school I and a couple of buddies would mess around and record songs on software called mixed craft but never uploaded any of our content. It wasn’t until late 2017 that I truly fell in love with it. From then on I knew it was what I wanted to do for a living.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

I would say some of my biggest musical inspirations that I derive my style from would be Kid Cudi, Drake, Lil Wayne, and even The Gorillaz. Some newer artists I’d say The Weeknd and Tory Lanez and 6lack!

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

Well where I grew up, it rains most of the year. Being indoors all the time forces you to get creative with your activities. It also gives you a lot of time to think and reflect on life. At least that’s what I did. That’s what this ep is really about. My reflection on life and inner thoughts.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

My greatest challenge is my perfectionism. I find it hard to be satisfied with any song I write and record and end up scrapping most before I can finish them. My greatest attribute would probably be my big imagination. I’m always coming up with new ideas and different ways I can improve a song or a music video.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

In my opinion I believe there are some areas that I excel in and some areas where there’s room for improvement.

What are your plans for the near future?

My plans for the near future are to work on larger projects and focus on visuals for my songs. I would love to start shooting more music videos! There are so many ideas for storylines that I have that I want to see come to life.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

I would like to thank my family and loved ones for always pushing me to be the best version of myself possible! Without their support, I wouldn’t have made it this far. Hopefully one day I can repay them for all they have done for me.

How can fans find you?

Fans can find me on most social media platforms such as:

Instagram: @Official_arasmoon

Facebook: Aras Moon

YouTube: Aras Moon

What suggestions do you have for other artist like yourself?

My suggestion is to put in as much work as possible. Try to find out what it is that you need to improve and take the time to get better. Don’t get discouraged. Nothing will come to you easily no matter how talented you are. There is always someone working harder than you. And lastly do not let negative feed back break you down! Use it as fuel and prove them all wrong!
