Exclusive one-on-one Chat with the “RumbaDubMaster” – Eghe Nimose

Alright, people, we have here with us a Nigerian artist! I know, when we hear of Nigerian artists, we first think of Afrobeats music but rarely we mention it with Rumba or Dub Music. Congo, the East Africa part of the continental is synonymous with Rumba Music and Jamaica with Dub music but this dude here today, Eghe Nimose has married both to create a new genre “RumbaDub”.

He’s a new artist but I believe would soon become a household name as his official debut “Let You Go” is a bomb, I’ve heard and seen it on YouTube, it is gradually gaining a lot of attention and we want to discuss it here on Muzique Magazine.

Quickly, tell us about Eghe Nimose, let’s know you!

Thanks, man for bringing me here  – really appreciate. I am Eghe Nimose, my birth and legal name are Aghayedo Kelvins Eghosa, from Benin City – Edo State, Nigeria.

What makes RumbaDub different from other Genre?

RumbaDub rhythm is unique, it is Rumba when it is slow, it is Dub or dancehall when it is fast. You listen to my new release ‘Let You Go’ you will feel the Dub in the genre and listen to “Stay Home” COVID-19 skit you will feel the Rumba too.

How is the RumbaDub sound going with the Nigerian music industry, being that it is all about Afrobeat there?

Funny enough, the Nigerian entertainment industry accepts and appreciates all genres or works of art either in music, poetry, or movie. My two releases were welcome so much that I felt a bit emotional on the release day of “Let You Go”. It trended the Twitter topics, Downloads, views, and streams were just rising and my fan base kept growing till date.

Awesome, awesome! Now what do we expect next from you?

A lot fam, a lot! I am just starting. This’ like a prep class you know. You’ve not seen the best of me yet, not a dime. My next release is a Rumba music for my Rumba fans and it is a great sound.

Alright, The RumbaDubMaster, it was nice having you here on Muzique Magazine, we will look forward to having you again on your next release.

Okay people, below is the YouTube video of “Let You Go” by the artist Eghe Nimose and also his social media accounts.
