Christian Krauter Interview With Muzique Magazine

How did you come by your stage name?

When I started posting my music I had no clue people would actually like it. I am actually a system engineer and have my own company where I act as the Director which is Datanova, focused on delivering cloud-based software solutions for Australian and New Zealand Government Service Providers. How did I become a producer and remix artist is because I travel a lot because and love music I wanted to access my mixes through the cloud and put it all on Soundcloud. One day I wake up and boom tons of hits … I still think it’s nuts! Anyways I keep it real and kept my birth name.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

Music has always been one of the most important things in my life and every spare minute I get is dedicated to it. I don’t have a musical background; however, music has always been one of the most important things in my life. I taught myself by examining DJs, watching tutorials, and combining the latest innovation in technology which is where the systems engineer comes in handy and with creativity.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

I guess overall this year I developed an ear for music. And with being there when Derek B., LL Cool J, Duran Duran were giants in the industry you can imagine roughly how much music I listened to since. With that wealth of musical knowledge that spans multiple decades and genres, and being in love with music my whole life, I started mixing for my travel in 2017. Delivering electronic music vibes and gained global support and sizing up on Soundcloud listeners and spots on Spotify playlists.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

Unique themed remixes, inspired by little stories I add to the production to inspire uplifting music to make you dream or dance. I want to revisit THE DUCHESS SERIES maybe adding on part 4 or even reproducing part 1 to part 3. Not sure.https://christiankrauter.com/duchess-series/

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

I do publish my music for free and have no commercial interest in making money from it. I am very fortunate that I run a very successful software company and don’t need any more income as such. And that makes my music real no agenda just having fun doing it.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

Hell no.

What are your plans for the near future?

Here comes a crazy idea of mine to write a musical. Not sure if I will succeed with that quest but I will give it my best shot.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

Yes, there is one thing I want everyone to know and that is that ….if you want something bad enough no matter what you will get it! Mark my words!
