How did you come by your stage name?
Romeo was given to me because of how my heart is. I added Machiavelli to my name for my Lil bro that passed away in a car accident at a young age, his name is D Mac.
He’s the reason I stopped street shit and started doing music because it was also his dream to be Chef & Musician. I live every day to make sure I show him I’ll never quit. Noel is my Family’s Crest to our kingdom, I will never forget where I came from.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
I was born for this simply. Lil bro just woke me up so I wouldn’t waste what God blessed me with. I am someone who can’t be cloned.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
My mom & pops. My mom’s style is just different. My pops, just so New York. So Brooklyn.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
When life pushes you into a corner, you got two choices: fight or flight. I chose to be the best of me I could ever be.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
I work hard, play later, and I’m all about business. It doesn’t matter if you currently hold the top spot cause I’ll make it my goal to conquer everything I set my heart on, and being the greatest of all time is that goal. I honestly can go 24hr in the studio with no sleep and get a whole, but I’ll take my time to make a masterpiece.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
Yes, I’m lyrically different. I make you go back and listen again, asking yourself did he really just say that, or oh my God this kid is fire.
What are your plans for the near future?
Go 10 times more mainstream than I am right now, I wanna work with some of the greatest artists in-game and make history. I wanna take my momma & poppa to better days.
I wanna take my brothers out of the jungle and into better lives. I wanna make the world a better place for you and me while telling my story.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
My momma & poppa & my fans. There wouldn’t be a Romeo without my family.
