Interview with Switzerland Based Producer and DJ Clay Pirinha
”Ain’t No Stopping Us Now” is the favorite track by the Swiss DJ & music producer Clay Pirinha and is the perfect summer track. The musical story started 2011 under the name “Dj Mod3rn“ and he’s the first single “KEEP ON THE SUNNY SIDE“. 2012 came “RAVE THE WAVE“ With this single the Fribourg based music producer and DJ, Clay Piller alias Clay Pirinha achieved their first successes in the international single charts.
From little Bookings and Castings in Switzerland, he grew up into a super musical who had bookings in the Biggest Open-Airs in whole Europe and big clubs all over the world from Italy and France to Spain and Germany all the way to the USA. In 2016 he started a new project and played as resident DJ in the Balearic island Mallorca for the whole Summer in 2017 and 2019.
How did you come to your stage?
At first, I was on the road as MOD3RN, where I was on tour in Spain in the summer of 2014. A friend of mine who was also there gave me the nickname Clay Pirinha and from their on I used it.
When did you discover your love for your craft and why did you realize that you wanted to make a career?
Even when I was a little boy, I attended various instrument schools and music was always something very big for me. At the age of 16, I started with electro/dance music and attended only a few music production schools. later I was traveling a lot and I was able to play so many clubs and festivals all over the world and that gave me a lot of self-confidence and a lot of fun.
How did you come up with the concept for your upcoming project?
My goal with every project is that the fans and people around me enjoy the sound.
Are you the best in what you think you do?
(laugh) there are so many great musicians in our business. I do not think that I belong to the biggest but of course, I always give everything in my environment the best.
What are your plans for the near future?
We’ll see what the time brings.
