Interview with Kentucky Based Pop Rock Band Rags and Riches.
How did you come by your stage name?
We wanted a name that would make a statement. RAGS AND RICHES to us just meant, “No matter if you come from nothing or extreme wealth, we are ALL equal.”
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
Peyton and I(Tanner), we are brothers that have always dreamed of a career in entertainment. Even as kids, we were strumming guitars singing Johnny Cash songs and into our early teenage years playing Nirvana, Blink-182, Dave Matthews Band, etc.
We also grew up in church, so we were always playing every week and getting tons of experience just being on stage. This has been the one thing we have continuously chased after!
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Our mom and dad really made a huge impact in our lives, they always kept us up to date with every genre out there.
On your upcoming project, how did you come up with the concept?
Peyton is really the mastermind behind everything we do, but for this, we fed off of each other to narrow it down to what we wanted to get across.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Our biggest challenge at the moment is keeping up, things have slowly grown busier and busier for us. We both are very hard workers at what we are passionate about and always have been.
What are your plans for the near future?
We have tons of songs planned for 2019, as well as music videos to pair with those songs!

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
Stay strong, don’t quit, and don’t be scared to change or mix genres. It makes the music more and more unique.
