SKG Interview with Muzique Magazine

How did you come by your stage?

I was given my stage name by Suge Knight when I was a kid.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I realized my love for Hip Hop when I was a child and my older brother introduced me to music.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

I’m very diversified. I’m influenced by a lot of places including the west coast, south, and east coast. I grew up on Pac, Biggie, Nas, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Snoop, Dre.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

My Album title “Unfinished Business” was really personal. I could never finish a full album because I always had obstacles that superseded the craft. So it was always like I had “Unfinished Business” that’s where the title came from.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

My greatest challenge is the hate that comes from within the industry. Sometimes this industry can be a dark place with a lot of lost souls. My greatest attribute is the love I have for my craft and being able to express the artistic work that comes with it.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

I feel I’m absolutely the best at what I do.

What are your plans for the near future?

To keep working and always setting the bar high.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout-outs?

Thanks to my team, fans, and supporters. I appreciate you.

How can fans find you?
