How did you come by your stage name?
Ero is my name and my last name Glaros means Seagull in Greek so I translated it and I’m now known as Ero Seagull.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
Music is my favorite language. I always played music ever since the age of 5. I was playing piano creating songs ever since I can remember. I guess in uni it’s when I got the bag to be a singer when a friend of mine asked me to sing to his music.
Then I entered The People’s Music Awards competition where I won the judges’ round and a judge said on the feedback that I’m a category of my own and I thought that what I do is considered unique therefore I thought I need to give it a proper try and Evolution my first album was born
On your upcoming project, how did you come up with the concept?
When a music concept knocks at my door I’m usually not expecting it. I could be watching a documentary or going to sleep thinking of a girl and a song reveals itself. I don’t always come up with a project they come and find me.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I’m quite of a perfectionist when it comes to my work. A human being can always reach higher so I can’t say with certainty I’m the best I can be as you can always do better, but if you’re asking me if I gave them 100% to what I released I can say yes I did my best.
What are your plans for the near future?
I’m preparing a presentation of my work in my hometown Athens, a concert that I want it to be a night to remember! At the same time, I write new songs that will blend the genres. I plan to have more folk elements.
How can fans find you?
I’m easily found. My fans can find me on all platforms.
