When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
Comes a time when we have to step out of our shells and bring our talents to the world. This just happens to be that time for me.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Easy E is a big influence on my current style. Kendrick Lamar has provided visionary guidance.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
Data is big. Everything and needs data and everyone is using it for different purposes. The rap game has weakened, and the world has been ravaged by COVID-19.
The people need an awakening, a calling. This concept is born out of the depths of those struggling, grinding, and looking for new inspiration to stay positive. Over density.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
I work too hard and need to make sure I balance my wellbeing and stay connected with those I love. No matter how great of a rapper Abdus Da Man becomes, I care about real genuine relationships above all else.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I’m the best at what I get involved with. When I do something, I give 100% to see 500% returns. Happy to battle any rapper at any time, freestyle on spot.
What are your plans for the near future?
Grind, stay positive, eat good food, stay healthy, and be connected with my family and friends.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Thinknum Alternative Data for giving me guidance and support to go big in the data world. My producer Kayin for producing a killer beat. My good friend Sheed who influenced the chorus. My good friend Salvatore who gave me inspiration for the music video! Kad for listening to the early days and giving solid feedback. And my peoples who hold me down, y’all know who y’all are.
