Brittia Billions Interview with Muzique Magazine

How did you come by your stage name?

My name was actually once Ms. Gold (Sapphiregold) but once I had a dream people called me Brittia Billions. I woke up and wrote it down and I liked the name Billions.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

When I was in grade school I use to always act out all my favorite actor’s parts in front of the tv. Next thing once I reached high school I was placed in Theatre class and did plays in front of the entire school. And wrote my own plays at times I knew I could act when my gym teacher walked over and hugged me crying saying my stories touched her. I wrote drama mainly and also humor eventually.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

Hmmm. I was always a fan of goth and the unknown ever since I was like 5. I was born in October so mainly Ozzy Osborn, psychedelic furs, Andre 3000, I love Erykah Badu, And writings like Edward Allen Poe. But my stepdad was a DJ so I eventually open my mind to hip hop and loved it as well.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

Yes my latest is a Techno track called “The Grand Bash” it’s actually on Spotify. So far it has 3K followers.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

When it comes to my work. Usually traveling and meeting new people inspire my craft. I never like to sit in too long or sit around too long. I always long for the experience.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

Hahaha, I would wish. But that’s not how life works u have to always work on your craft to maintain its light and growth.

To get more into creating more techno music. Also, get into more acting very soon. It’s hard to be confident during a pandemic makes me uneasy thinking of the sick people so far.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

First and foremost I would like to Thank God for all he has done and shown me.

Second Thank u Brad Mitchell for my best photography, Thank u Modelmayhem for being my digital parent. And a few more I gotta thank in person!

How can fans find you?

Over 1k a day so far.

What suggestions do you have for other artist like yourself?

No matter what . Stick to your own craft and be yourself. That’s the only way your talent will really shine.
