Interview with Music Producer Trunxks

How did you come by your stage brand name?

Trunxks was a nickname growing up cause my actual name is Truong and most people couldn’t pronounce it.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I loved music ever since I was a kid but I decided to pursue a career in music production after I heard 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin album. I felt the production on the album was so incredible I wanted to do something like that as a career.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

I definitely feel I’m right there but I can’t say I’m the best because there’s always room to grow and I gotta stay motivated.

What are your plans for the near future?

I want to continue to build the brand and work with more amazing artists. I want to also build up the other brand KOTB and give underdogs a platform to display their talents.
