Named after his birth year, 2001 is Fordo’s way of paying tribute to the music era that raised him. “Being born in 2001, that era shaped me,” he says. “I walk the line between my own vulnerability and confidence, always drawing from real-life experiences.” That balance is clear throughout the album, which touches on love, heartbreak, growth, and self-discovery.
The track “Nobody’s Watching” is already gaining major attention. Co-produced with Grammy-nominated Victor Thell, the song became a viral hit after a teaser clip pulled in over 1.5 million views on TikTok. The song encourages listeners to be themselves, even in a world that focuses on appearances. It’s a message that’s clearly resonating.
Fordo describes the album as a timeline of his life so far. Each track feels like a page from a diary, filled with moments of joy, regret, and lessons learned. “It’s the most complete version of myself I’ve put into music so far,” he says.
While 2001 is deeply personal, it also invites fans to connect through shared emotions. The mix
of upbeat production and raw lyrics makes the project feel both fun and meaningful. Fordo’s ability to stay real while making catchy music is what makes this debut stand out.
“For anyone who misses when music made you feel something,” Fordo says, “this one’s for you.”
2001 is available now on all streaming platforms.
