Exclusive Ellen Alexander Interview with Muzique Magazine

How did you come by your brand name?

Any stage name is a variation of my name. My real name is very hard for many people, so I chose my middle name “Alexandrovna” and changed it up a bit, turning to Alexander

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I was singing since I was very young in a church choir, back in Moscow. I had an idea of singing in the back of my mind, during that time I was writing poetry, singing, and dancing, and doing ballet. In the Soviet Union, those were the popular creative activities that children would attend after school, as classes. So, I was trying all of those different things and disciplines and that’s how I ended up discovering that this could be a career for me

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

I don’t think I can credit anybody specifically, it’s just to my liking, I don’t credit anybody but for example, I can mention Alon Walker or Kygo as some of the influence

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

For my current project, I came up with a concept inspired by that kind of DJs. I would say that Alon Walker, the Current project I came up with a concept inspired by that kind of DJs. I would say alon walker and kygo, but I also have a rap song inspired by cardi b. I have many different directions and I enjoy in different styles, experimenting with my craft.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

What is challenging for me is time, I barely find time to manage everything, and right now I am writing this book that shares a story about a singer. I am developing some books on my father that’s what I’m currently busy with, as well as paintings and collaborations. Instagram, TikTok, Onlyfans – You name it, I have a lot of projects going on at one time, and finding time to make music can be difficult sometimes.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

I do not believe there isn’t anybody who is the best. There are many different great artists many styles, there is a lot of variety. I just create what I want to, what I feel like, I don’t want to call it the best.

What are your plans for the near future?

For the near future, I plan to finish 4 books with my father and I’m working on 2 other books myself and planning to shoot movies, based on those books.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout-outs?

I had so many people helping me and inspiring me, working with me, and helping me to create my music, so I think I want to thank the artists I like, for the inspiration.
