Andrei Lucas – Debut EP in the works during covid19 Quarantine
After releasing 3 singles and after a 10 months hiatus, Andrei Lucas, London based artist, music writer, and social media influencer, is slowly releasing hints that his debut EP will be released in July with the name Broken Hearts In Paris. The pandemic and the confinement has definitely determined a lot of artists worldwide to focus on music and on their craft and so did Andrei Lucas who is working on an indie EP meant to make people feel happy and written in a style similar to his inspirations: artists like LAUV and Ed Sheeran. “Those two are definitely big role models and inspirations for my music and I can definitely identify with many of the feelings that they portray in their music and lyrics, hence why I was motivated to open up and find out more about myself through this journey of writing”.
As Andrei Lucas mentioned, Broken Hearts In Paris is a musical journey that relates to leaving home, trying to make it in a big city and trying to find your way in a difficult challenging world and ending up running away from your own demons and finding happiness when you least expect it. Because life and music are always unexpected. The album encourages vulnerable young adults to love themselves, it also hints towards mental health (depression, expression of self-esteem) and it is a body of work based on experiences of young adults who are also immigrants from other countries. “My music aims to bring complex feelings, and it’s not a journal of my experiences, but more a universal story of inclusivity. It is aimed towards young people who want to be heard, who’s dreams are worth the fight, and talks about young people living in a challenging world.” Andrei Lucas mentions.
Broken Hearts in Paris is set to be released in July and Andrei Lucas will make sure to keep us updated with all the future dates related to the release.
