How did you come by your stage name?

There’s not really a real way I came up with the name Purpprxmi, my real name is Rami and when I was still thinking of a stage name for my career, “Purpprxmi” just randomly clicked when I was in the car.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I have been a fan of music since I was 4 years old, I been playing the drums and piano since that age. I never even thought about doing anything vocally or rapping though until I was 13 years old.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

I found out about Lil Uzi Vert, Trippie Redd, XXXTentacion, and Juice WRLD, fell in love with that style of music and they inspired me to start making my own like that. It’s just fun and melodic you know?

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

I really came up with the battle-type concept of Fighting Demons just from my own personal battles and what I go through on a daily. I wanted to help people go through their own problems because we’re all fighting our own demons.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

One of my biggest challenges in music is trying to balance school and music together, my work ethic is strong because I know I’m gonna go far eventually. The only way I won’t make it is if I give up.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

Yes, I believe one day people will recognize me as the best as well.

What are your plans for the near future?

I just dropped my music video for Intimate so I’m hoping that song does well across digital DSPs, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
