PREMIERE: EMM Releases New Single “Twin Flame”

EMM, a self-produced, and self-sufficient artist has released her new single “Twin Flame.” EMM has built a reputation for creating music that showcases a woman’s power in a world that constantly tries to diminish it. As a classically trained musical prodigy from a conservative town, she wasn’t expected to create such a unique sound with a bold personality. She emerged from the ringer of the music industry strengthened rather than defeated, empowering her fans across the United States.

“Twin Flame” heads back to EMM’s signature sound of futuristic, badass dark-pop. EMM’s lyrics are known to illustrate motivational messages and encouragement for women, with an honest and raw edge. One of her latest releases, “Freedom,” garnered over 1.3 million streams on Spotify, along with over 1 million views on YouTube for the accompanying music video and 2.2 million on Facebook. “Twin Flame” is no different, showing off her hardcore persona just as well.

“Twin Flame” plays with ethereal vocals and heavy drums in the verses, mixed with powerful lyrics about a toxic yet intoxicating relationship. In the chorus, she sings “our tragedy is a dream come true,” acknowledging how she and her significant other are both destructive but seem to understand each other in a way that only true Twin Flames could. Inspired by Matt Bellamy, EMM is a master of creating empowering anthems. Her enticing vocals cover a wide range of tones throughout the whole song, further proving her vocal mastery. With an enchanting and eerie tone to the track, “Twin Flame” will leave the listener entranced and wanting to know more.

Now based in Los Angeles, EMM has performed at some of the city’s largest arenas, including the Staples Center and Dodger Stadium. In May, EMM previewed her newest show “EMMPOWER: The Showcase,” to 70 music industry veterans and tastemakers at the iconic “SIR” in Hollywood. In the last 24 months, she’s crafted hundreds of songs with her team of co-writers and co-producers, and received a number of major film and television placements.
