How did you come by your stage name?
The name Musical Mindset came from the idea of engaging people from all angles – meditation, movement, and holistic wellness. The purpose behind this name is to combine all of these elements into one and create a truly unique experience for the audience to immerse themselves and find their own medicine within.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
From a young age, I was performing traditional Greek dance, singing, and playing in various bands and other musical environments. I was born to play music and it fulfills me in every sense of my being.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Growing up I listened to a lot of reggae, rap and really got into electronic music when I got older. I’ve always had a love for world music with its organic sounds and cultural aspects. Now I’m incorporating these elements into my music along with my life experiences, and this is what has most influenced my sound and sense of style.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
My current project is a single called “Worthy.” For a long time throughout my life, I’ve been challenged with self-doubt — most recently so due to an experience with a business partner who told me I was replaceable.
In the song, you can hear that I sing about the journey of finding my self-worth and inspiring others to find it within themselves. This journey is life-long and never-ending but if we can be present and do the inner work, moment-by-moment, then we can reach our true potential and discover our life’s purpose.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
The challenging part of being creative is pushing forward when you don’t feel like doing it and knowing that life has its ups and downs. Another challenge is to keep showing up no matter how I feel, whether happy or sad and to also authentically channel those emotions into my music. One of the hardest things is to avoid self-comparisons with other musicians which at times can lead to jealousy.
To the best of my ability, I try not to give in to jealousy but rather to take inspiration from other artists. One of my greatest attributes when it comes to my work ethic is that I have full faith in myself. This means that, when circumstances become difficult, I surrender to a higher power knowing that obstacles are meant to make me stronger and make me the best performer and musician I can possibly be for the people.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I try to be as humble and as confident as I can at the same time while knowing that every artist and every person is unique. I believe that I am uniquely the best at what I do and that everybody is also the same within their own domain.

What are your plans for the near future?
Musical Mindset will travel the world playing at music festivals with the goal being to get my name and music out as much as possible. At the same time, this will allow me to grow my creative and musical abilities to express myself to the maximum. I will always remain present and remind myself that life is about the journey rather than the destination.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shoutouts?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my producer Sam Bottner for always helping me and pushing me to be my best creative self. I’d also like to thank my friend Darden who has helped me from the back-end with everything from my website and social media to countless miscellaneous administrative tasks.
And last but not least, I want to thank my mother who always believes in me and has been my biggest fan and supporter since day one. From a young age, she also instilled within me an appreciation and love for my Greek heritage. This has allowed me to appreciate other cultures and therefore become a more open-minded and well-rounded artist and human being.
