Kurt Rosenberg on His Success and Goals for the Future

Composer Kurt Rosenberg is most recognized for his songs inspired by Celtic, Folk, Pop, 40’s Ballroom to 50’s Jazz and Film Music. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by music. Determined to make a name for himself, Rosenberg’s musical endeavors have contributed toward a successful career.

Notably, Rosenberg worked to create a music short film entirely based on his song “Highland Home.” This ode to Scotland has been recognized for its thoughtful lyrics and distinct sound. As Rosenberg continues along his musical journey, he strives to further his fame in the industry, setting and reaching goals that he has always dreamed of.

Being successful in the music industry requires a lot of hard work, passion, and dedication to the craft. “A composer has to be disciplined,” explains Rosenberg. “This means that they must work on their music every day. If a composer wants to be successful, they need to view it as a job, not as an avocation.”

For Rosenberg, personal success involves continuously trying to be a better person of integrity, where his word is his bond. Professionally speaking, he would deem himself as a success “if my music was used in a film/on TV, my fans love my music, and they respect me as a human being.”

With his fans at the forefront of his mind, Rosenberg’s aim is to appease them. A fanbase is imperative to a strong music career, and Rosenberg continues to expand his audience through every endeavor. “Each piece of my music conveys a different emotion, thought, or message. I want to compose melodies that touch people and are memorable.”

Rosenberg holds ambitious plans for the future that will expand his reach worldwide. Currently, he is working on refining the music and lyrics for his original musical “For the Lack of Laura,” and producing animated music short “The Moon Followed Me to Falmouth,” a song reminiscent of old sea shanties found on the British Isles. Both projects closely reflect Rosenberg’s brand and will surely attract listeners of all backgrounds.

He is on track to become more widely known – especially in Britain and Ireland – as an accomplished composer, film producer, sought-after musical collaborator, and as someone who creates special ties with his fans.

Although there have been many ups and downs in Rosenberg’s career, especially during the pandemic, he continues to persevere. His love for music and creating impactful compositions drive his passion and motivation. While no journey to success is simple for any musician, Rosenberg remains optimistic about his career. He is eager to make a lasting impact on others through his lyrics and sounds.

As Rosenberg continues to make strides in his career, he offers strong advice for fellow musicians, encouraging them to: “Hone your craft …. practice, practice, practice! Compose what you love. Don’t let anyone tell you that your music isn’t good enough. If you have a passion for your music, there will be listeners out there that will gravitate toward it. Find your ‘Musical Niche’!”
