How did you come by your stage name?
KRY Just stands for Crying, cause you can CRY in so many different situations. When you laugh, you can cry tears, the same goes for being sad, angry, etc. This whole thing is the mirror of my Music.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
You know. It was kinda always a part of me. The frequency of music is one with my heart and this since a kid. I recorded my first song with 16 and this was like the moment where I thought „ I’m good at it.“ After that, it was like „alright bet this is and was always my purpose.“
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
Definitely Playboi Carti. The greatest Artist to ever exist in my opinion. This whole new Sound I introduced with „AnT! Held“ which is my main sound now, wouldn’t be here without Carti. Especially Whole Lotta Red is pretty underrated. The Influence he gave us… like damn, he created a whole new scene. Sh!t is iconic. So yeah Carti is My Biggest Inspiration.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
I was like always an outlaw. In everything. No matter how much I connected with people, I felt like and still feel like I can create the best craft when I’m isolated and no one really knows what I’m doing or where I’m at. I kinda always lived like an Antihero. My latest single „AnT!Held“ (German for Antihero) Just describes the way of what the person behind KRY always was. An Antihero Who stands up for those who can’t. To be a symbol for every other antihero out there not being a „yes-machine“. We live with the system, doesn’t mean we F. With the system, definitely means we do what we want.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Greatest challenges definitely staying focused LMAOOOO. I’m a Gemini leave me alone! My greatest attribute is definitely my adaptability in every situation. Whenever I feel like something is missing from my own vocals to the mix mastering process, I quickly figure it out, wrap it up and adapt to it. That’s what I do. Like all day. LOL
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
Absolutely one of the best. No matter what I’m trying to do. I’m always one of the best. It’s just how it is. :‘) Ask my Former Valorant eSports or my Former Soccer Teammates and especially the producers I’m working with since I seriously joined the music scene.
What are your plans for the near future?
Damn. Continuing to develop this new „AnT!Hero Trap“ thing. Many collabs with a fashion brand. Can’t say much about it but it’s gonna be dope. Stay tuned for that. I‘ll also have some virtual and live events, which is gonna be fire, cause I’m going to f up the whole stage. Cause everyone misses the rage, cause we been too long in da cage. Also trying to drop my first album „KRYCITY“ in 2022, idk when.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
For sure. I would like to thank my brother Kevin. First of all. He’s the greatest. Like literally. My mentor, brother, and just the GOAT. He’s crazy but lovely. My Mommy, love u, thank u for your support and everything. The best mom I could ever imagine. My cousin Markus, the guy who got the most German name but looks like Zlatan Ibrahimovic. One of the kindest souls on this planet and probably the most beautiful man on this earth. Also Florian and Jonas.
I love you guys. You’re both down horrendous but that’s okay I love u both. Slash3r and Mi$ery my main producers. Basically my other half. Vazpei my graphic artist-designer. Extremely talented. And of course my sister-in-law Arlinda. You’re amazing. Never change, ’cause you’re an angel from heaven Luv u so much. My brothers from another mother Sezer and Isa. We 3 are like Luffy, Ace & Sabo! Sheeeeeeesh enough enough . Luv 🙂

What suggestions do you have for other artist like yourself?
Be yourself, man. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can do and what you can’t. This is your life And you should get into your nature. Connect yourself with like-minded people. Don’t hang around time wasters and losers, cause you they are your mirror. See what happens when you surround yourself with winners who always grind. Don’t look back and never accept being the second choice.
Know your self-esteem. You can be whatever you want to be and no one has the right to tell you something else. You can’t please everyone, so just please yourself by becoming the best version of yourself. Let it flow. Be water and everything will eventually fall into places. Love you so much. KRY.
