INDIE SPOT
Interview with upcoming artists Yhung.Sammy
How did you come by your stage brand name?
As an artist I used to love rapping around the age of 10 I started making music on my phone I had to come up with an artist name so I came up with Yhung.sammy.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
When I started music it was because of my big brother The was shot dead on seen I was traumatized to the point where I learned to release emotions through music writing every emotion I felt.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
So for future projects I work with my producer Joe kali we think about my music and how it’s going to all come out and what beat best matches up with my song.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
Some of my greatest challenges are my moods because sometimes rapping hits me something it doesn’t I won’t have the same voice for my other songs such as “sabotage” and “ghetto angles”.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I’m best at what I do because I don’t sound the same as the other rappers in my city most of the songs you hear they talk about the same stuff over and over again what I do I have fun with my music.
What are your plans for the near future?
My plans are getting a record deal and making sure I give back to the place I came up from.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
Shout out to my boys Yovani Valdez, Steven Blanco, and Alexis. Most importantly shout out my producer Joe Kali
