Exclusive Interview with Artist Ashley Marie
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
I’ve always had a passion for music and I’ve always loved to sing since I was 8 years old. I always liked writing poetry, years later I decided I wanted to start writing music, the first song I wrote is called Gravity and it’s my first single I released in October 2020.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
I honestly don’t really know what my “style” is or what it compares to. I would say my music is indie pop or commercial.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
I usually write what’s on my mind or what I’ve been through, but for my next release it really just came to me out of nowhere.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
I would say making sure I’m 100% happy with each of my song’s outcomes before releasing it. Sometimes when I try to write, I can’t think of the right words so I usually wait until it comes to me naturally.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I’m trying my best to write the best music I can at the moment, I have soo much growing to do since I started writing music only 6 months ago, so I’m looking forward to writing and releasing my best songs!
What are your plans for the near future?
I’m going to release my next single very soon, it’s in the works at the moment, I’m excited since this song will stand out from my other releases.
