Boy Indigo’s Exclusive Interview With Muzique Magazine
How did you come by your stage / band name?
We’ve always identified with the idea of the Indigo Children. We are of their flock.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
We had all been on different projects before and we wanted something that was sonically captivating and new, likewise, something we could poor our love for visual arts into as well.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
We wanted it to feel like a short film from the 70s.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
We do all of our own production with the music and videos. So at times, this is difficult, but also creates opportunities where we can challenge ourselves and push the boundaries of our creativity. For the production, we made our own sets by hand, built our own props, and sewed our own garments.
What are your plans for the near future?
We want to make our own short films and score them.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
We would like to thank the entire Indigo Tribe for their unwaning support.
How can fans find you?
They can text us directly 323.629.8041 or visit any of our socials profiles online.
What suggestions do you have for other artist like yourself?
Optimistically hardened your heart to the trials you may face.
