Meeting Up With Alex Genadinik
How did you come by your stage name?
I was trying to come up with a cool stage name, but I stayed with Alex Genadinik as a brand because I didn’t come up with anything that felt great. But for my website, TouchedByASong.com – I liked the idea of the name because that’s my favorite experience with music. I am touched by it and taken to new worlds.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
My sense of style derives from artists like Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and sometimes more modern rock music. But my music, according to me, must always feature interesting poetry and lyrics.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
My greatest challenge is that I have to balance my music with my main work. For my main work, I run a very demanding business. My business is that I am a top instructor on Udemy, teaching over 500,000 students.
In addition to teaching all those students, I also help other businesses get their Elearning programs up and running. I license PLR courses which is a process by which people can buy online courses to resell on their websites.

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
At this point, I should not be the one giving out too much advice. The only thing I can say is to never settle for your current level of quality as “good enough.” Always strive to be better tomorrow than you are today.
