THILDE talks about her love for her craft, sense of style and more
How did you come by your stage name?
My artist name is THILDE, in capital letters!
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
I’ve been singing always. I think I was singing before I could talk. I grew up in a Christian family and in the church, there was a lot of singing and music. Then I was bullied at school and the music gave me comfort and strength.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
My feeling and honesty for the music are absolutely from God.
On your upcoming project, how did you come up with the concept?
I just want to be myself, to touch others with my personality and music. It is important for me to be myself.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
My biggest challenge is that I’m tired in the morning hahaha. But my work ethic is 110 percent because I have known since I was 2 years old that I would become an artist.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
If I am the best at what I do. I give everything I can but I will continue to develop for many more years, so right now I am the best I can be right now but I will get better and better.
What are your plans for the near future?
My plans for the near future is to enjoy the moment of keeping my feet on earth and to take as much knowledge as I can. To release this single and to perform is the only thing I want.

I want to thank God first and my mom and dad for standing by my side and supporting me.

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
The advice I want to give to others is to always be yourself and to keep your heart clean and that if you have a belief in something then never give up.
