lilheartbreak Interview with Muzique Magazone

How did you come by your stage name?

I was going through a tough time suffering from a breakup that fucked me up and was heartbroken for a minute and have been short all my life so I just put 2 and 2 together and came up with “lilheartbreak”

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I really discovered my love for music at the age of 12 when artists such as Bruno Mars, Chris brown e.t.c really influenced me to make music so I decided to join a group in year 7 in school and as soon as I recorded my first song in the studio I couldn’t stop from then on and have been grinding ever since and not a spark of my passion as left me since.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

A lot of different artists have helped influence my sound such as juice wrld , lil uzi, Bruno Mars, and iann dior and a lot more have influenced me to make all types of fast-paced and slow-paced autotune sad and upbeat songs on beats like hyperpop and emo rap and alot more!

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

My recent song “uprise” was heavenly influenced by artists like trippie redd on that upbeat rage beats. I really wanted to try this sound for some time and really loved making this song and put a lot of effort into it and it was also mixed and mastered by me. The hook says “up in the studio gotta get the cake tryna stack all this dough wanna fill my plate “ this line was about how I was grinding 24/7 and I’m not stopping till I’m at the top of the world.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

My greatest challenge in the studio sometimes is finding beats that I can vibe with at times. I’m super picky when it comes to choosing beats because I need something that sounds great on my voice and that I’ll enjoy making a tune with. My greatest attribute when it comes to my work ethic is I never EVER get comfortable I always make sure to at least try to create a piece of music every single day and make sure to put 100% into every song and to not be half-hearted

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

No. I’m not the best in the music scene I have a long way to go and a lot to learn but want I do admire about myself is I’ve worked really hard to get where I’ve gotten and have grown a lot and my music is really started to sound like a piece of art with real emotion.

What are your plans for the near future?

My plans for the near future are to stay focused and keep my head towards the music scene, to keep releasing music, keep promoting and stay on top, and hopefully one day my dream is to be living on music alone and get my family and friends the life they deserve

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout-outs?

All my supporters all my bro’s such as brokenclark , scumboy , tensei, sinn6r all my family I love u all thanks so much for sticking with me from the start you’re here at the start of something new 💙 the UK underground scene is about to explode

How can fans find you?

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
