Interview: Kristina Murrell Talks About Her New Music Video – “Got Me Dreaming”
R&B singer-songwriter Kristina Murrell recently released the music video for “Got Me Dreaming,” a track from her album, Passion & Pain.
Originally from Barbados, Kristina moved to the U.S. in 2015, where she caught the attention of Music For Love, who signed her, along with a production deal with Music By King Inc.
With her plush voice and affluent R&B sound, Kristina appears to be ready to top the charts.
The video for “Got Me Dreaming” depicts Kristina succumbing to the thrill and anticipation of new love. Viewers watch the happy couple get to know each other, taking walks, and enjoying nights out. Then things change. Kristina discovers her beau is a philandering two-timer.
Knowing she deserves better, she releases herself from the relationship, realizing he will continue to be a heart breaker.
Low-slung and velvety, “Got Me Dreaming” rolls out on sensuous textures topped by Kristina’s alluring voice. It’s a deluxe voice full of enticing hues.
Muzique Magazine spoke with Kristina Murrell to find out more about the person behind the music, her influences, and what the future holds for her musically.
