How did you come by your stage name?

My Uncle John Elisha McGee gave me the nickname Doctor Ravan It has stuck with me for decades. Our roots come from the swamps of Louisiana. We come from dragon witches wizard warlocks and lynches who used their magic to hurt and deceive their own Children. I’m a good Doctor I use my gift for Healing.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I discovered my craft coming up in the mean streets of 5th Ward Texas. I played different artists constantly on my cassette radio coming up trying to mimic them. I never could really get comfortable as a child because my mother and siblings had to go through so much coming up because of our bad ancestor’s design.

My great-grandmother put others before her own. She was not the only one. There were other tribal members who dishonored their own by putting another custom before them. My Grandmother Angellica Hartley tried to keep us Unified but greed hate and I want to be better in a negative manner hurt Us.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

Michael And Janet Jackson Ice Cube. Wow, there are so many.My uncle John McGee And his son Jayson Rodgers are good influences.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

On My project Let My People Go what inspired me is the fact my Bloodline is from the house of Jacob the timeline of Moses and there are souls and lives in Black Hollywood who were born into my bad ancestor’s blood sacrifice greed.

We don’t belong to any corporation masterminded by our own generational tribal members. I couldn’t believe it really dawned on me and from doing researches about the sick religion that was thrown on the Children for a long time. We just want the curses to end now.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

I would say so and in fact, I have to. The only way you get better is by believing in yourself and knowing you can do great things with drive and effort.

What are your plans for the near future?

To keep telling the Truth through Music about my bad ancestral fallen parents. I will keep Fighting their greedy hateful and selfish ways so My Generational Sisters and Brothers can Heal from them and their government curses.

Real Love To My Family And Bloodline in Hollywood. I come from Jacksons and Browns but we don’t want any incorporated names anymore We just want or Tribe back. We don’t want to be reversed or erased because of our bad ancestor’s wrong choices and greed.
