Anmol Melodies Interview with Muzique Magazine
How did you come by your stage/brand name?
I came up with my name, “ Anmol “, as my stage name by trying to think of an easier name than my real name, which is Samriddhi. Anmol is the nickname my dad has called me ever since I was a baby, and I just really loved my name. Anmol also has a pretty meaning to it, which is “ precious “.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
I would say my passion for music started when I was really young, like when I was about 4 years old, I started singing on stage for performances and contests. I feel like music has been my true love. I listen to music all the time, like when I’m sad, happy, angry, and more. I realized that this was what I wanted to do forever, probably when I started to win the contests I participated in.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
I credit my inspiration to pursue and start my music career to my mom because she also sings, and she sings beautifully. She always gives me singing tips and tricks on how to sing, or what songs to sing covers of. My dad is also a big reason why I am where I am today, he helped me find a producer for my song, he helped me with the lyrics, and he filmed the video for me as well.
He also signs me up for contests and performances and manages my youtube channel. But, when I grow up, I really hope to become and have a sense of style like singer-songwriter Ariana Grande, because she has a phenomenal voice, and her songs are both deep and catchy to listen to, which I hope my songs will be over time.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
My current song “ When will the school year end?” was basically a song that was created with AI. The lyrics were all generated by chat GPT. It was the last month of my middle school year, and it was probably the slowest month of the year. That basically gave me the idea to create a song about my experience, because I know that other kids probably feel the same way at the end of the school year.
What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?
A big challenge for when I work on music is coming up with a concept for a song, or making a melody that puts the lyrics together with the music. I feel like coming up with a catchy tune is the hardest for me.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
I’m obviously not the best singer in the world, but that would be an amazing achievement to get in the future! I would say that I am a pretty good singer in general though, and I always practice and try to improve.

What are your plans for the near future?
I have many big plans for the near future, as well as putting out much more music, as well as trying new things like acting, etc. But mostly I plan to make better and better
Music.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout-outs?
I would love to shout out and thank my parents because they both have helped me find my passion for singing, as well as helping me do my first song. They have also helped me get so many opportunities for performances and contests, that they are mostly the reason that I could even put out a song this year.
I also want to thank God for helping me get to this point in my life where I got to put out my own song, and for helping me believe in myself because I know that not every 14-year-old in the world can release their own song at such a young age, with the support of their family.
How can fans find you?
I would be very excited to see that I have fans! So first of all, I would like to thank anyone who considers themselves a fan of mine, because their support would mean so much to me and my music. They can see my music on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/@anmol_melodies and Spotify at https://open.spotify.com/artist/2GYoOVwtolg7KADb8x5cNs I also have an Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/anmol_melodies/
What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
I’m also trying to do this, but I recommend to keep putting music out there as much as you can, so more people can discover it, as well as practicing singing and practicing on your vocals to sound better and better each and every day. Lastly, I suggest making music that not only others enjoy, but also you enjoy singing and creating because I believe that if you’re not happy with what you’re doing, then it is most probably not worth it!
