Get to Know Airo and Steven Vegas

How did you come by your stage name?

Airo .- My middle name is Jairo so I took the j out

Steven Vegas.-well I first had “Votnik” a call of duty tank but after talking with my family I choose to stay with my birth name

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

Airo.- since I was a kid, music its always been within me, it is where I feel safe, singing, writing, producing, or simply listening to it, I just love music

Steven Vegas .-everything begins when I bought the cd ‘Tiesto’s elements of life” I saw his performance and I noticed the way people’s enjoyed the music and there’s when I choose to do something just like that

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

Airo. I usually don’t take references from other artists I produce what’s coming from my head but I give loads of credit to a few friends who gave me tips when I was starting this journey

Steven Vegas .-my style is based on drums and reggaeton rhythm, I mixed those elements and that’s how was born what I call “moombaroom”

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

Airo.-steven and I were talking and he came up with the idea after a few tries he sent me the project and I continued by adding some more ideas then I sent it back to him so he did the mix and I did the master

Steven Vegas .-yeah I’m happy with the result.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

Airo.-biggest challenge is trying to get time to work on music I have my son, girlfriend, and a full-time job, they all demand time lol!

Steven Vegas.-staying trendy and connecting with people would be my biggest challenge but if you do what you love at the end will flow naturally

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

Airo.- yes! lol! I’m not even close to where I want to be but I keep working every day trying to be better than the day before little by little

Steven Vegas.-i can not, there is too much talent in the world we don’t know yet but I keep in mind the things I’m capable to do, self-love and trust is key

What are your plans for the near future?

Airo.-keep releasing music under my own label (RLCrecords) and help others to release their music

Steven Vegas.- I wanna be one of the biggest Dj/producers out there and rock the people with my music
