Interview with Artist Xander

How did you come by your stage name?

I came about the name Xander The Falcon by creating a character on the video game WWE 2k19. It had just come out my boy said “Make a character and get really creative”.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I come from a musically inclined  family. Pretty much came out the womb singing.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

My uncle Eric, Lil Wayne, Prince, Michael Jackson, Andre 3000, Imogen heap, 2pac, Styles P, and my Mother. My mother always told me if you’re going to be in this industry be you, find you, be creative and expand you. Be versatile and be open to suggestions.

On your upcoming / current / future project, how did you come up with the concept?

Throughout my life experiences. Sometimes you walk outside and an idea smacks you in the face or wakes you up out of your sleep.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

My greatest challenge is accepting the fact that I am really good at what I do. And my greatest attribute is being able to do anything with any sound.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

Yes, if you don’t have that mindset in life you’ve already failed.

What are your plans for the near future?

To release 500 singles.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

God. Life can be challenging.

How can fans find you?

Through my Instagram @xander_df and my soundcloud XanderLand and my spotify XanderRoss

What suggestions do you have for other artist like yourself?

Just don’t stop. Nobody is going to support you until you make it. Find that one person that believes in you and use that for your motivation.
