Young TeTe Interview with Muzique Magazine
How did you come by your stage / brand name?
My nickname has always been TeTe. I just put “Young” in front of it.
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
I started rapping about a year ago. When I got comfortable with my stage performance, I knew this was for me.
To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?
God.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
Working in the club, I wanted to make a strip club song, which is what I did with my first single, “Clap It (Remix)” featuring Boosie BadAzz. On my latest single, “Came a Long Way” featuring Young Dro, and my upcoming debut mixtape, which is also titled Came a Long Way, I want to tell people where I came from, where I’m at, and where I’m going.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
Yep.
What are your plans for the near future?
Being successful in the music industry and opening several businesses.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?
God. My team, Money Grip Ent.
How can fans find you?
On Instagram at @YoungTeTe_ and Facebook at facebook.com/YoungTeTeMusic.
What suggestions do you have for other artist like yourself?
Keep going. This is a process. Nothing is overnight.
