RACHEL WANG Interview with Muzique Magazine
When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?
When I had struggled with depression, I wanted to find a way to help myself so I started writing music. When I realized, I also wanted to help others to know it’s okay to not be okay. I started pursuing my career and getting in more accomplishments.
On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
Well, it’s mainly about how I’m in a relationship and I wanted them to stay away from me because I know with myself struggling with depression I would end up hurting them too.
Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?
Honestly, yes because it is something I love and enjoy doing. It is my passion.
What are your plans for the near future?
I plan to reach a bigger audience and shoot for my audience to know it’s okay to be sad and feel lonely.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout-outs?
Yes, my friends and family, have been there through the thick and thin. So shout out to them especially my parents for always being there when everyone left me.
